Magazine App Royal Library

Impresa, founded in 1973, is Portugal’s largest media group. The company operates with SIC in three business areas: publishing, digital media and television. Impresa publishes Expresso, the best-selling weekly and winner of the European Newspaper Award in 2006. In addition, the group publishes 14 magazines. Expresso and many of its magazines are available in print and online, as well as for Android and iOS tablets and smartphones.
Impresa chose WoodWing’s multichannel publishing platform. WoodWing replaced Impresa’s old system, which had been in use for about 10 years but lacked the flexibility to address today’s multichannel publishing challenges.
“With Woodwing as our new publishing system, we have the flexibility to handle the production of all current and future titles in print, online and digital in an efficient and transparent manner,” said Raul Carvalho das Neves, COO Operations & Technology at Impresa. “This way we can offer our readers the most appealing content quickly and efficiently through all the appropriate channels and devices.”
