Casa is a chain of stores selling decorative and household items as well as household textiles and garden and interior furniture. Over 40 years of experience, more than 500 stores in 11 countries and a web shop with an extensive assortment make CASA International a leading player in its industry. A door-to-door brochure is distributed weekly.
The challenge
Casa has an in-house design and photography studio and an e-commerce department that creates all promotional content for the website, for e-commerce and for the door-to-door flyers. Given the large and ever-changing assortment, it was essential to set up an image bank, or digital asset management system, to manage and publish all content for the website, e-commerce, the brochures and for the Point of Sale material. In addition, it was important that the image bank be integrated with the PIM system so that all product and image information could be easily processed and published to all channels.
Add structure
Casa uses Woodwing Assets as a digital asset management solution. Qonqord offers the DAM platform from the cloud and takes care of management and support. Woodwing Assets is integrated with Casa’s PIM system so the studio’s product and image content can be used extremely efficiently across all channels. The images for the weekly campaigns are automatically published in batch to the e-commerce website. “The DAM system is a very essential part of our day-to-day design and publication processes,” said Casa. In addition, the Point of Sale material is automatically created with the EasyCatalog plug-in for Adobe InDesign.
